Purpleheart also known as Amaranth is a deep eggplant coloured wood sourced from Central and South America. With age and exposure to UV it will darken to a dark brown with a hint of purple. The grain is usually straight but can be wavy.

It has been kiln dried and cut to 25mm x 45mm x 150mm (All sizes are cut and one face has been planed)
