Tigerwood also known as Goncalo Alves is sourced from Mexico to Brazil. It is usually a medium reddish brown colour with irregular streaks and spots of dark brown to black, similar to a tigers coat! The grain can be straight, but also wavy and interlocked.

It has been kiln dried and cut to 25mm x 45mm x 150mm (All sizes are cut and one face has been planed)
