We've had S90V for a few years, but there was always one steel that had eluded me for a little while, is it's bigger brother CPM-S110V. Some say that this is potentially the best knife steel, others disagree as it may be overkill for a knife steel! S110V is a high powder metallurgy stainless steel developed in late 2005 by Crucible. It is a high carbon, high vanadium steel with a addition of a high amount of Niobium forming very small, very hard carbides. It is renowned for having extreme wear resistance and good corrosion resistance. However it is not the easiest steel to work with and will require good quality abrasives!
We will be keeping the S110V at 3mm thick, surface ground in lengths of 250mm and 500mm, want to know more, then take a look here:

If you don't fancy tacking the S110V we still have plenty of choices with over 25 different grades of steels in stock!
