Deerfos PG730 Aluminium Oxide (Compact) abrasives. These belts are great for finishing your steel to a high standard – they provide a great consistent, uniform finish. Compact abrasives are different to standard aluminium oxide abrasives – they are a large cluster of abrasives as opposed to a layer of aluminium oxide abrasives in more traditional belts (Hermes RB337YX for example). As you grind with PG730’s you expose more fresh abrasives, which in turn makes the PG730’s longer lasting (Up-to 3 times longer than RB337YX), with a cleaner more uniform cutting allowing a better finish and reducing hand sanding time. These abrasives are designed for steel, not for wood or composites.  Can be used wet or dry.
