Norton R996 – The Viking. The little brother to the fantastic Blaze, but don’t be fooled though as the Viking still performs! They work great on all steels and hard to grind materials with a medium to high pressure, with low heat generation and no glazing, just maximum material removal! Compared to 3M Cubitron II 784F you will see a huge improvement in performance and longevity for pretty much the same price – what’s not to like about that! They are much more like 984F’s in grinding performance and longevity! Don’t confuse these with Norton Red-X as these are not the same – just a big step up in performance!
